Recent Series: Photos From the Lost and Found

These paintings are based on vintage photographs; some from family collections and some found elsewhere. I use them as a way to celebrate the joy of human connection—moments of play, laughter, and togetherness that feel both ordinary and timeless. At the same time, they remind us how fragile memory can be. Photographs fade, details shift, but the feelings they hold stay with us. My work is about honoring those memories and the importance of holding on to them.
